Fix: Spectrum App error ALP-1999 on Apple TV (2024)

How to fix Apple TV error ALP-1999

1. Firstly, you can check your internet connection by turning off your modem and router, waiting 30 seconds, and then turning them back on. 

Make sure they are connected to your device properly and that they function correctly. Disconnect and reconnect them to see if this helps.

One user on Reddit got the ALP-1999 error fixed by resetting the modem. 

2. If you see other apps running smoothly on your Apple TV except for Spectrum TV, quit the app and launch Spectrum TV again.

Press the TV button twice quickly on your Siri remote > In the app-switching view, select the Spectrum TV app > Swipe up on the clickpad or touch surface to force quit the app.

3. If the issue persists, try deleting the app and re-downloading it. Keep in mind it will remove all of its data.

4. If nothing works for you, you’d need to contact Spectrum customer service. They will send a signal to reboot your modem. It will solve the issue at hand.
